This year was marked by a lot - by depth, by heart changes, by trials, tears and triumphs. This year was a lot of a lot and hard to explain in a few sentences. One thing that made it extra special for me was viewing it all through the lens of my camera. Approaching life not only as a missionary but as storyteller - specially commissioned to seek out and find the stories of the Lord and share them with ears, eyes and screens around the world.

"Let the redeemed of the Lord tell their story" Psalm 107:2

Not only did I get to tell the stories of others but I told my own. I video blogged the journey from start to finish and laid out a welcome mat for people from all over the world to join in on my experience and take part in what the Lord was doing in and around me.

So what do we have now? We have a mission minded women trained to find and tell stories. We have a community of thousands of viewers following along at home -supporting each other and delighting in the Lord’s work. We have World Race alumni recently off the field whose heart also beats to share the Lord’s goodness creatively. Most importantly we have untold and unfolding stories happening all over the world waiting for us. So what do we do with all that?

Introducing Kingdom JourneysStorytellers, a new program for World Race alumni to join a videography team and to travel internationally to create weekly content about the Kingdom of God and the work of Adventures in Missions.

The Kingdom Journey’s program exists to allow alumni the opportunity to spend all their time specifically working in one ministry. Half way through my race the Lord put it on my heart to start a Kingdom Journey specifically about sharing His stories. With the support of my story coach, Johnfrank, I submitted a proposal and it got approved in month 11 of my race.

Starting in January, me and a small team of passionate, Christ followers with cameras will be journeying to south east Asia for three months. We will meet with locals and AIM staff and spend time in prayer to find and tell some incredible stories of the Lord’s work.

I have the privilege of both building and creating this trip and also leading it on the field. I will be spending the next five months working at the Adventures in Missions office in the film department. I will be running admissions and mobilization for the trip as well as building out all the details. While there I will also have the opportunity to work with the film and marketing team, learn more about film and leadership and train current racers in story telling.

If you are as excited about this calling as I am and believe in the power of a story like I do, I would love it if you would come along side me and support me in this endeavor.

A portion of my trip will be covered however I am responsible for a portion. In total I need to raise $5,336

I would love to start conversations with anyone that wants to know more about this or get involved. I am so grateful for the support I have received and the video ministry we have been able to create together this past year. I hope you will continue to choose in to this journey and come with me where the Lord has called me next!
